Sublimation paper is the consumable with the biggest impact on quality and cost per meter in a digital textile plant. Our transfer paper is ultralight, fast-drying, and fully tacky: its adhesive coating holds the fabric in place during transfer in the calender and eliminates "ghosting", the most common defect when sublimating spandex, lycra, and stretch fabrics for sportswear and swimwear.

Which sublimation paper weight should I choose?
It depends on your printer and ink coverage: for high-speed industrial printers, lightweight 35 to 45 gsm paper dries faster and yields more meters per roll; for designs with heavy ink coverage or slower plotters, 55 to 85 gsm weights absorb more ink without bleed-through. What is tacky paper and when should I use it?
Tacky paper has an adhesive coating that activates with heat and holds the fabric in place during transfer in the calender. It is essential for spandex, lycra, and stretch fabrics in general: it keeps the fabric from shifting or shrinking and eliminates "ghosting" in the image. Our paper is fully tacky, the level recommended for sportswear and swimwear.
What is calender protective paper for?
The 19 gsm ATS Protective Paper is placed behind the fabric in the calender: it blocks excess ink gas so it does not stain the rotary belt, extends the life of the blanket, prevents fabric yellowing, and releases no formaldehyde. It comes in a standard 1.65 m width.
