Heat Press Calenders for Sublimation
Heat transfer calenders: ERIKA EK EM electromagnetic models (up to 30% energy savings, 120–1,100 m/h) and MP Series thermal oil calenders with PLC control and a 2-year warranty.
The calender is the heart of the sublimation process: it uses heat and pressure to fix the ink from the transfer paper onto the fabric. Choosing the right one defines the productivity of the entire plant, a 700 m/h printer needs a calender that keeps up.
We offer two technologies: the ERIKA EK EM series with electromagnetic induction heating and SCR control, up to 30% energy savings, reaching 200 °C in 50 minutes, with drum diameters from 260 mm to 1000 mm and speeds of 120 to 1,100 m/h, and the Diferro MP Series with thermal oil heating, PLC control, weekly scheduling, automatic shutdown, and a 2-year mechanical warranty.
Both lines include installation, protective paper, and guidance to size the machine to your printer and fabric type.
Frequently asked questions
Electromagnetic or thermal oil: which one is right for me?
The electromagnetic model (EK EM) heats up faster, consumes up to 30% less energy, and uses no oil (less maintenance), ideal where electricity is expensive or production is intensive. The thermal oil model (MP Series) has a lower upfront cost and very stable temperature for constant production. We advise you based on your electricity rates and volume.
What size calender do I need?
It depends on your fabric width and printer speed: a 1.8 m printer pairs with 1900 mm wide calenders; the drum diameter (260–1000 mm) defines the speed, the larger the diameter, the longer the contact time and the more m/h.
What warranty do the calenders carry?
The Diferro MP Series includes a 2-year mechanical and 1-year electrical warranty. The entire line is backed by spare parts and local technical service in Colombia with coverage across Latin America.
